The editorial board of Évkönyv (Glasnik) invites you to review a scientific manuscript.

Professional Responsibility

Please carefully examine the manuscript based on your scientific and methodological expertise. Evaluate the paper according to the following criteria:

  • alignment with the journal’s profile,
  • significance and relevance of the topic,
  • applied methods,
  • scientific value,
  • soundness of arguments and conclusions,
  • appropriate style,
  • clarity of expression,
  • structure of the text.

When reviewing, keep in mind the guidelines from the Instructions for Authors, and record your opinion in the Review Form.

Please remain impartial regarding the author’s nationality, religious or political beliefs, or scientific orientation.

Conflict of Interest

The identity of the author(s) is anonymous to you as a reviewer: all identifying information has been removed from the manuscript. Similarly, information about the reviewer is removed from the feedback sent to the author.
If you believe that the author can be identified from any data or if a conflict of interest exists, please notify the editorial office immediately.

Timeliness

You will receive the invitation to review, deadlines, and reminders automatically via email. By accepting the review, you commit to completing it within the specified deadline.

Confidentiality

Please respect the confidentiality of the review process and do not use any information obtained during the review for personal or third-party advantage, or in any way that could harm others.
If it becomes necessary to involve additional experts, please request permission from the editorial office in advance.

Ethical Concerns

If you encounter any ethical issues or violations of academic integrity during the review, please inform the editorial office immediately. If the manuscript is very similar to one you have reviewed or read before, please also notify the editors.

Review Process

  1. Carefully read the manuscript and related documents (Editorial Policy, Instructions for Authors, Review Form).
  2. Use the Review Form to identify missing or incomplete elements in the text.
  3. Be specific and detailed in your critique, citing relevant parts of the manuscript.
  4. Provide feedback and recommendations to help the author improve the quality of the work.
  5. If the manuscript is unclear, specify what needs clarification or additional information.

Re-Review

After the initial review, please accept the editorial request to re-review the revised version of the manuscript.

The list of reviewers, including your name, will be published on the journal’s website and in the last issue of the year as recognition for your contribution.
